Seeing a ladybug crawl across the leaves of a plant is a universal symbol of all that is right in the world. Warmth and light, a temperate calm in the air, the grace and harmony of nature in one of its simplest and fullest expressions. Those old adages about truth and beauty. Timeless scene or tired cliche? I’m leaning firmly toward the former.
